Certification Program

Trusted Firms Global — Trusted Adviser

Individual certification for professional advisers. Based on your personal client feedback, portable across firms, with your name on the credential.

Individual certification, not firm-wide

Your clients, your credential

Based on feedback from the clients you personally serve — not the firm average. Your credential reflects your client relationships.

Your name on the badge

The Trusted Adviser credential includes your name. Clients know exactly who is certified.

Portable across firms

Your credential remains valid for its full 12-month period even if you change firms. Renewal requires measurement through a participating firm.

How it works

1. Your firm measures

Your firm must be using Client Culture for independent client feedback measurement. Trusted Adviser certification is available to advisers at Trusted Firms Global certified firms.

2. Your clients are measured

Client Culture measures feedback from your personal client list — drawn from the firm's records, not a curated subset. At Verified firms, coverage is reconciled from billing records; at Standard, we measure what the firm provides, independently.

3. Results assessed

Your personal client satisfaction results are assessed against the certification standard. You must achieve the same threshold as firm certification (NPS ≥ 70, privately verified; minimum response thresholds). No public score is shown at Standard.

4. Credential issued

If you meet the standard, you receive a Trusted Adviser credential with your name on the badge. Use it on your email signature, LinkedIn profile, and personal website.

Certification requirements

The Trusted Adviser standard mirrors firm-level certification but applies to your individual client relationships.

Performance standard

  • ✓ NPS ≥ 70 (based on your personal client list)
  • ✓ Sufficient responses for statistical reliability
  • ✓ Independent measurement via Client Culture

Process verification

  • ✓ Every invoiced client given the opportunity to provide feedback (drawn from firm records)
  • ✓ At Verified firms: client list reconciled from billing records, including invoice amounts
  • ✓ Annual renewal required

Firm requirement: Your firm must be using Client Culture for independent client measurement. Trusted Adviser certification is available to advisers within firms that participate in the Client Culture measurement program or hold Trusted Firms Global certification.

Why individual certification matters

Professional services are personal. Your clients don't just trust the firm — they trust you. But most professional awards and firm-level certifications don't recognise individual adviser performance.

The Trusted Adviser credential solves this. It certifies your personal client relationships — independently measured and renewed annually. Your credential is yours for its full 12-month period, not the firm's.

It's recognition based on what your clients actually experience — not self-nomination, peer voting, or firm reputation.
